The Fall 2025 MAST Center IAB Meeting, hosted by The University of Arkansas from October 19-21, brought together an engaging mix of Center faculty, students, and staff, as well as industry sponsors and guests, totaling 65 participants!

We kicked off the meeting with a group walk around the beautiful campus, setting the tone for a weekend of collaboration and connection. The following industry mixer was a great opportunity for students and industry members to network and engage with each other and our two industry guests. Monday focused on project presentations primarily from our student researchers, followed by a campus tour, reception, and dinner. During the evening, we held a poster competition, celebrating the work of our students as industry board members voted for first, second, and third place prizes. We concluded the conference with mentor meetings on Tuesday, allowing project teams to discuss their progress in depth and receive feedback from the meeting.

A huge thank you to our Center members for making this such a memorable experience! We’re looking forward to seeing everyone again at our upcoming Spring Meeting on April 12-14, 2026 at the New Jersey Institute of Technology, where we will continue to build on these meaningful connections and support essential membranes research!

The Spring 2025 MAST Center IAB Meeting, hosted by The Pennsylvania State University from April 13-15, brought together an engaging mix of Center faculty, students, and staff, as well as industry sponsors and guests, totaling 69 participants!

We kicked off the meeting with a group walk around the beautiful campus arboretum, setting the tone for a weekend of collaboration and connection. The following industry mixer was a great opportunity for students and industry members to network and engage with each other and our two industry guests. Monday focused on project presentations primarily from our student researchers, followed by a campus tour, reception, and dinner.
