UARK Summer REU & START Programs Visit Invista & Eastman

This year's summer research participants visited the industrial facilities at Eastman and Invista in Longview, Texas. They received guided tours, gained insights into industry operations, and had valuable opportunities to network with field researchers. Included in the trip were participants from the Research Experiences for Undergraduates (REU) and Skills Training in Advanced Research & Technology (START) NSF programs, as well as those involved with the Membranes for Virus Purifications (MVP) Center (EPSCoR Track II) and Northwest Arkansas Community College. As a cornerstone of the MAST Center IUCRC Site Program, these summer initiatives hold significant importance in developing student experience in research and industry.
